Wildflower Week at Sunshine Meadows August 9-15th, 2010

Come out and visit us at the Sunshine Meadows this summer at the height of the wildflower season!

Over the course of the week we will be offering an Eco-Yoga workshop, Photography Workshop, and free guided Interpretive walks.

Our 6th Annual "Plein Air Paintout" takes place on August 9th, and our 2nd annual photo contest submissions are required by August 9th.

6th Annual Plein Air PaintOut at the Sunshine Meadows August 9

White Mountain Adventures and Sunshine Meadows are happy to present our 6th Annual Plein Air paint out

We have invited some of the Bow Valley and Canada's favourite mountain artists to join us up at the Sunshine Meadows. The artists will be capturing the spectacular landscapes and scenery of the beautiful alpine meadows. They will be painting and drawing throughout the meadows at locations of their choosing and you are invited to visit and watch these artists at work.

Photo Contest at the Sunshine Meadows submission date August 9. More Info...

Anybody who has a passion for taking pictures can join the event.  Take your time to explore the open meadows any time this summer and capture its beauty in your lens!  Submit two of your works with titles to White Mountain Adventures in digital format and as printed 8"x10".  All of the photos will be displayed at the Sunshine Trail Centre and on our website and will be voted on by visitors to Sunshine.  Great Prizes! 

"Eco-Yoga" Demo Day at Sunshine Meadows, August 10

Come up to Sunshine on August 10th and join Ronna Scheberger for a mountain yoga experience. She'll be leading a one hour program beginning at 8:30 am.(Please book your shuttle time for 8:00 am. ) After yoga, you'll have all day to hike the trails in the meadows!

Family and Friends Meadows Cards Save $30 Not available for purchase between July 20 and Sept. 1).

A Meadows Card is the most affordable way to take the shuttle bus to Sunshine Meadows. Valid for 5 visits for you and any of your family or friends, this card costs $100 and saves you $30 off the regular fare. As an added bonus you'll also receive a free copy of our new "Alpine Wildflowers of the Canadian Rockies " Guide. This card can only be purchased by calling 403-760-4403 or emailing us at info@whitemountainadventures.com. Reservations cannot be made online using this card but can be made by telephone.

Season's Pass

Do you like to hike often in the Sunshine Meadows? Then why not buy a Season's Pass for $80 and come up as often as you like! Local Appreciation Days July 13th and August 26

Do you live in the Bow Valley? If so, come up and visit us on either July 13 or August 26 and save $11 on your shuttle ticket. Adult ticket cost is $15 per person. Proof of local residency required. "Larch Madness" Fall Special

Come up to the Sunshine Meadows to see the changing of the Larch trees and save $6 off the regular ticket price. From Sept. 13th until the end of the season, all adult ticket prices are reduced to $20 per person! Tickets can be booked online.
