Wildflower Week at Sunshine Meadows 2011: August 8th ~ 14th Come out and visit us at the Sunshine Meadows this summer at the height of the wildflower season! Over the course of the week we will be offering a free Eco-Yoga workshop, Photography contest (free to enter) , and free guided Interpretive walks. Each event is compliemtary with a purchase of a shuttle ticket (reservation necessary)! Come on out!
Free Guided Interpretive Walks 2011 - August 8th & 11th In just 15 minutes of walking you'll reach the continental divide with its incredible views of Mt. Assiniboine and asurrounding sea of peaks, plus open alpine terrain of wildflowers, lakes and larch forests. Led by one of our professional guides you'll hike comfortably through this landscape and also learn about its naturem wildlife and history. 9:30 AM ~ 2:00 PM (Please book your shuttle time for 9:00 am.)
3rd Photo Contest at the Sunshine Meadows submission date 2011 Submission Deadline: August 9th! Click here for more Info... Anybody who has a passion for taking pictures can join the event. Take your time to explore the open meadows any time this summer and capture its beauty in your lens! Submit two of your works with titles to White Mountain Adventures in digital format and as printed 8"x10". All of the photos will be displayed at the Sunshine Trail Centre and on our website and will be voted on by visitors to Sunshine. Great Prizes!
7th Annual "Plein" Air PaintOut at the Sunshine Meadows 2011 - August 10th White Mountain Adventures and Sunshine Meadows are happy to present our 7th Annual Plein Air paint out We have invited some of the Bow Valley and Canada's favourite mountain artists to join us up at the Sunshine Meadows. The artists will be capturing the spectacular landscapes and scenery of the beautiful alpine meadows. They will be painting and drawing throughout the meadows at locations of their choosing and you are invited to visit and watch these artists at work.

3rd "Eco-Yoga" Demo Day at Sunshine Meadows 2011 - August 14th Come up to Sunshine on August 14th and join Ronna Scheberger for a mountain yoga experience. She'll be leading a 2~3 hour program beginning at 9:30 am. (Please book your shuttle time for 9:00 am. ) After yoga, you'll have all day to hike the trails in the meadows!

Family and Friends Meadows Cards Save $30 (Only available for purchase before July 15th. Call Now!) A Meadows Card is the most affordable way to take the shuttle bus to Sunshine Meadows. Valid for 5 visits for you and any of your family or friends, this card costs $100 and saves you $30 off the regular fare. As an added bonus you'll also receive a free copy of our new "Alpine Wildflowers of the Canadian Rockies " Guide. Season's Pass Do you like to hike often in the Sunshine Meadows? Then why not buy a Season's Pass for $80 and come up as often as you like! Local Appreciation Days 2011 - August 25th! Do you live in the Bow Valley? If so, come up and visit us in 2011 and save $11 on your shuttle ticket. Adult ticket cost is $15 per person. "Larch Madness" Fall Special Come up to the Sunshine Meadows to see the changing of the Larch trees and save $6 off the regular ticket price. From Sept. 12th until the end of the season, all adult ticket prices from the parking lot are reduced to $20 per person! Tickets can be booked online.
