Sunshine Vistas Daily Guided Hike - Available: July 1 ~ September 8th, 2013

Experience the No.1 Hike in Canada with our guide!

Walk the flower filled trails of the Sunshine Meadows as they wind their way past waterfalls and lakes. With a professional interpretive guide you'll learn all about this fascinating world above treeline! The walk is designed so that you'll be able get back to the nature centre by 2:00 pm. Max. distance: 12 km. Difficulty rating: Easy

All guided hikes begin with the 9:00 AM shuttle from the parling lot. Appropriate clothing for a full day hike is required and please bring a lunch with you or purchase our Hikers Lunch at the deli ($12/person). Watch a guided hike video from here!

Private Guided Hikes daily

If joining a group on our Sunshine Vistas hike doesn't fit your plans or your time, why not hire your own private naturalist for a morning, an afternoon or for the whole day. You'll be able to go just the distance that's right for you, at your own pace and have nothing but one on one time with one of our knowledgable naturalist. Distance: Variable. Difficulty rating: Variable.

Your private guide hike can begin with any of the shuttle departures. Appropriate clothing for a full day hike is required and please bring a lunch with you.

Cost: 1-7 persons: $441.00 includes tax and shuttle fare .

Sunset on the Mountain Evening Nature Walk

This is a perfect way to catch a great alpine sunset and a beautiful way to spend an evening. It is a small group experience with an intimate feel and once you're on the short trail up to Rock Isle Lake, you'll feel like you stepped away from the rest of the world. Sunset over the lake is magnificent!

Discover the timeless nature of the Rockies with an Eco Yoga experience in Banff National Park. You will experience this magnificent landscape and yourself in a way that will send you home rejuvenated and renewed. Once you learn how to enter silence, you will understand how profoundly connected you are to nature. This program can easily be delivered without yoga poses putting more emphasis on meditation and hiking.  Please note the bus fare is an extra $26 fee.

Ronna, the owner of EcoYoga Adventures, has been a professional interpretive hiking guide in the Canadian Rockies since 1994 and a Hatha Yoga instructor since 2000. She is a pioneer in combining hiking, yoga, and storytelling.
